MARTY JEMISON & ALEX STIEDA TRAINING CAMP

Alex Stieda, the first North American to ever wear the Maillot Jaune (Yellow Jersey) as the race leader in the Tour de France, joins Marty Jemison for a high-altitude training camp designed to make good cyclists very good and competitive cyclists winners – period. The camp features one-on-one coaching by these two cycling champions, threshold tests, training tips and, of course, plenty of riding on the roads in and around Park City, Utah.
For those with real aspirations of making that next step, this is the camp to attend. Both Alex and Marty know what it takes to compete at the highest level and what it takes to get there. They’ll impart advice and words of wisdom that will benefit participants for years to come, and likely for the remainder of each attendees’ cycling career.
Designed to give cyclists the tools to become the best possible, 3-5 hours/day will be spent riding at a base level intensity (long steady distance). If an individual’s specific training program at the time is more advanced, he/she will be able to extend the day’s ride or add prescribed intervals.
PARK CITY
Park City boasts incredible road riding and more than 300 miles of mountain biking trails, making it a Mecca for both skinny and fat tires. In fact, Park City has hosted back-to-back national cycling events here: the National Championship Mountain Bike Series and the Park City Cycling Festival, the U.S. National Championships for all age groups including Junior, Espoir (Under-23), Elite and Masters roadies. Those donning the Stars ‘n Stripes will be in good company as Lance Armstrong, Rishi Grewal and John Tomac have all won National Championships in Park City.
